RE: "No, it's not rocket science, but can council plan fly?"
Ooh, is your bias ever showing up!!! Apparently you think that
Springfield is a city which has too many libraries, or as you said,
"....a city with more than its share of them." What you do not seem
to
understand is the relationship between those citizens who live in
Springfield and their library system! You have repeatedly overlooked
this unique equation, instead holding on to a mistaken belief that it can
all be solved by restating the position of the SLMA , a revered entity
since 1857, that since they have not been able to do it, then no one will
be able to do it! We residents simply do not believe it, and will not
stand by to see our beloved system dismantled by those who should be
protecting it ! Ridicule of our efforts is really not becoming to you;
I suggest that you begin to look at the situation from another
perspective and let go of your "Father Knows Best" attitude!
