OF THE SPRINGFIELD LIBRARY AND MUSEUMS ASSOCIATION (SLMA)
1. There are 31 members of the Board of Trustees. THIRTEEN (42%) are from Springfield.
2. There are 10 Honorary Trustees. ONE (10%) is from Springfield.
3. There are 62 "Off Board" members serving on a variety of committees. NINETEEN (31%) are from Springfield.
4. Combining these, there are a total of 103 policy makers at the SLMA. THIRTY-THREE (32%) are Springfield residents and 68% are not from Springfield.
5. There are 7 officers of the SLMA. ONE is from Springfield.
6. There are 11 committees. Springfield residents chair only 3 committees.
7. On the most important Committee, the Executive Committee, there are 16 members. FIVE are Springfield residents.
