We represent an urban neighborhood of 26,000 in the city
of Springfield, Massachusetts. Our neighborhood has small single family homes
of the Craftsman style, two and three family dwellings, stately Victorian
style homes, apartment buildings, as well as post-war bungalows.
The Forest Park Civic Association is a volunteer association of neighbors who want to make their neighborhood better. Formed, initially, over twenty-five years ago, to stop commercial encroachment on the gateway to Forest Park, Sumner Avenue, the F.P.C.A. has become a strong volunteer neighborhood action and social group.
