CENTRAL LIBRARY: 220 State Street, 263-6800. Books, audio and video tapes, compact discs, magazines and newspapers for adults and children. Reference services. Interlibrary loan here and at all branches. Hours: Monday-Thursday 10-8, Saturday 9-5, Sunday 12-4. Closed Saturday and Sunday in summer.
HOMEWORK HELP LINE: 796-4700. Monday-Thursday 4PM-7PM. Ten trained teachers to help you with your lessons.
FAMILY FUN
FOREST PARK: Walk, jog, work out, feed the ducks, skate, watch the birds, picnic, play ball, sled, cross-country ski.
QUADRANGLE MUSEUMS: 220 State Street, 263-6800. Hours Wednesday-Sunday Noon-4PM Admission $4 adults, $1 children. Free to all who hold a Springfield Public Library card on Friday afternoons. Call to get information about art and science classes and special exhibits.
