The Springfield Police Department is committed to serving the community. Captain Gerald Foley Supervises Community Policing and ensures that officers facilitate communication between individual officers, various divisions within the department and sector groups. The Community Policing Team is tasked with maintaining the citizen/police partnerships developed within Beat Management Teams. Each officer has an assigned pager and each sector has a sector pager. We are in critical need of our partners and continue to maintain our community.
