Welcome to Amongst Friends, a new restaurant serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and located next to Lederers' Bakery on Sumner Avenue. Stop in for a cup of coffee and a look at the news. In time, they expect to have a couple of computers in their lounge area along with their newspapers,
While not a new business, the Jewelry Exchange is moving to a former convenience store on Sumner Avenue across the street from Amongst Friends. This is a welcome addition to what was once a neglected property.
Typical Sicilian has opened for lunch and dinner, Monday through Saturday at the "X" where the Clubhouse was located. It is owned are Park residents, who have done a nice job fixing up the restaurant.
The O'Connell Shell station has opened on Sumner Avenue. They worked closely with the Main Street Corporation Design Committee to make the gas station fit into the neighborhood, as well as possible.
X.Hai Van Nguyen, owner of the Pho Saigon Restaurant has purchased the building, and is improving the property.
Home Town Delicatessen next to Moolicious at661-663 Dickinson Street has opened. They have done a terrific job fixing up the place, and offer a variety of things to eat for lunch, supper or an evening snack.
