In
light of the Mason Square transfer (proposed or actual) to the Urban League,
the City Council Library Study Committee hereby requests of you the following
additional documents:
1) the minutes of any vote
by your Board of Trustees or its executive committee relative to the
disposition of the Mason Square Branch to the Urban League
2) a
copy of any purchase and sale agreement for said property between SLMA and the
Urban League
3) all
correspondence from October 1, 2002 to date between officers or representatives
of the SLMA and officers or representatives of the Urban league concerning the
Mason Square branch library
4) a copy of any and all
studies, evaluations or analysis, whether performed by SLMA staff or others, of
the feasibility of desirability of selling the Mason Square library property to
the Urban League or any other third party
5) a
copy of the by-laws, charter, or governing documents of the SLMA advisory board
6) copies
of any written notices to any person or organization prior to April 10,2002
informing that SLMA was a) considering selling the Mason Square branch or b)
entering into an agreement with the Urban League to sell such property
7) a
copy of any and all appraisals performed in 2000, 2001, 2002, or 2003 of the
value of the Mason Square branch library property.
