In the City Council                                                                                            December 21, 1998

 ORDERED:

(a) That the sum of Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000,00) is

appropriated to the Springfield Library and Museum

Association for the purpose of purchasing equipment, remodeling,

reconstructing, and making extraordinary repairs

to Libraries and Museum buildings owned and operated by

the Springfield Library and Museum Association. (See Attachment A)

(b) that to meet this appropriation, the City Treasurer, with the

approval of the Mayor, is authorized to borrow Four Million

dollars ($4,000,000.00) under Chapter 80 of the Acts of 1998

and C 44 S 7.
